A Giant Success!

At the beginning of March, we brought some Giants from National Museums Scotland directly into nearly 50 classrooms across the city!

Learners and teachers alike were guided step by step to create an animation on Keynote that played with perspective and movement. We also looked at how to be creative with our choices, adding text to show our learning, images, and of course… personality!

Some of our classes have been in touch to let us know that they used this to springboard into other curricular areas too, inspiring poems and stories to come to life.

And thanks to the Museum, we were able offer free entry to the Giants Exhibition and participation in the Eco Creatures Workshop for two of our classes.

Holy from Clovenstone PS

It was such a hard choice, with so much creativity of approach from our young people.

But after reviewing all the entries, we are really pleased to announce that P6B at The Flora Stevenson Primary School and P6 at Clovenstone Primary School have won
