We will be delivering two live lessons in the run up to Christmas this year. Feel free to join both or just one!
Lesson 1 – 3rd December, 11.00 -12.00
In this lesson pupils will use the Scratch website to create a fun, Christmas themed game. We will also give teachers ideas on how the skills covered could be adapted for various learning opportunities.
This lesson is aimed at Second level pupils with 1:1 devices or Shared iPads. If using a Shared iPad it’s recommended that pupils should work in groups of no more than three. No prior knowledge of using Scratch is necessary.
Lesson 2 – 10th December, 11.00 – 12.00
In this lesson pupils will use Keynote to create a digital snow globe. They will even learn how to put themselves inside the snow globe!
This lesson is aimed at Second level pupils with 1:1 devices or Shared iPads. If using a Shared iPad it’s recommended that pupils should work in groups of no more than three. No prior knowledge of using Keynote is necessary.
Prior to this live lesson, please ensure your pupils have their iPads updated to at least OS 16 or above and have the Keynote app downloaded from the Self Service store.
The optional teacher information session for both lessons will be 26th November 3.30pm to 4pm. This session will be recorded.
