This session is for all school staff interested in, or currently working towards achieving the Digital Schools Award Scotland, and the new Digital Wellbeing Award.
Session Outline
Practitioners from two Edinburgh share their experiences of achieving their Digital Schools Award Scotland. One of the schools has now also started their journey with the Digital Wellbeing Award.
Beverley McCormick, educator and validator for the Digital Schools Awards program, will join us and offer her input into the role of the validator as critical friend and guide for the process. Her input will help to demystify the award application process and impress the importance of how we should approach digital technologies in schools and address the importance of digital wellbeing.
The session will also provide the opportunity to ask questions and make contacts with other schools/educators to support your DSAS and DWA registration and journey.
