Sphero

Sphero is a range of robots that can be purchased by schools. The indi and BOLT robots are popular within Edinburgh schools. Once purchased, the Sphero app can be used to deliver lessons and activities to learners.

micro:bit
The BBC micro:bit is a pocket-sized computer that introduces learners to how software and hardware work together. It has an LED light display, buttons, sensors and many input/output features.
Primary schools in Edinburgh have all received at least one set of micro:bits. The micro:bit app on the Empowered Learning iPads can connect to the devices and allows for programming and interaction.
