Why?
Teaching a new age group this session? Want to further understand the online habits of the age group you’ve taught for a while?
Keeping on top of all of the latest social media trends can feel impossible, but understanding the reasons why children go where they go (and do what they do) can give us the confidence to manage situations as they arise, as well as be proactive in how/when we build CRIS into our lessons.
This session will provide some understanding of how typical developmental milestones can directly impact your pupil’s choices online, and how that can feed into our planning around Digital Literacy. We will also share further reading and practical ideas for the classroom.
Who is this for?
