With Burns Night just around the corner, we wanted to celebrate the great Rabbie Burns with a live lesson, paying tribute to his legendary Address to a Haggis.
In this live lesson, learners will learn a little about Robert Burns and his significance to Scotland, before delving into a digital task. Those that attended our previous Burns Goes Digital live lessons, may remember the task of creating a Wild Haggis with Keynote – and, it’s now back by popular demand!
Learners will explore the shapes tools in Keynote to construct their own mythical haggis, before animating it, and adding some Scots vocabulary to describe it.
These lessons are aimed at Second Level pupils with access to 1:1 or Shared iPads with their teacher accessing Teams on a big screen!
Format
- Teacher Session: Recording Available 15th January
- Online Live Lesson: Tuesday 20th January 11 – 12pm
Prior to this Live Lesson, please ensure your pupils have their iPads updated to at least iOS16 and have the Keynote app downloaded from the Self Service store.
