Live Lesson – Celebrating Eurovision with Numbers

This live lesson looks at celebrating the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest through Apple’s Numbers app. The live lesson will take place on Teams on Wednesday May 8th from 11am to 12pm. 

Why? 
Celebrate the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in this interactive live lesson that explores how to use Apple’s Numbers app in a second level context. Learners will explore creating tables, experimenting with cell actions/formula, and representing data in the form of charts and graphs. 

Who is this for? 
This session is aimed at P5 to P7 learners. 

Session Outline

  • Create your own personal Eurovision scoresheet in Numbers. 
  • Record your scores after watching performance extracts. 
  • Format cells and experiment with creating averages and totals.  
  • Record this data in visuals using charts and graphs.

Prior to the live lesson, please ensure your pupils have their iPads updated to the latest OS and have the Numbers app downloaded from the Self Service portal.
