In collaboration with our friends at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, we have a two-part Live Lesson planned for before and after the Easter break.
Learners (and teachers!) will get to meet the team at the Botanics, engaging with quizzes, and learning how important it is to have the right technology to be able to identify plants. We’ll also look at the world of plant-naming conventions!

In terms of digital skills, we’ll be looking at the app iSeek by Naturalist, all linked to a Pages workbook. Then part two will explore our more creative digital side, using the Sketchbook app to bring our learning to life!
As always, learners will be guided step by step through the whole thing!
These lessons are aimed at Second Level pupils with access to 1:1 or Shared iPads with their teacher accessing Teams on a big screen.
