Supporting Schools to Support Parents and Carers with Digital

Why?

With Digital Teaching and Learning at the heart of Highly Effective Practice, having the support of Parents and Carers in your community can really be the making a successful digital school.

This session is designed with that in mind, sharing support routes for Parents/Carers to access independently, good practice for building strong digital relationships with your school’s community, navigating tricky questions and a better understanding of where our parents/carers are coming from, best practice for communicating with EAL parents/carers.

We’ll also hear from Jen Myddleton, Wider Achievement Development Officer – Parent/Carer Support and Family Wellbeing and Everyday Digital Local Champion.
