This Digitip shows you how to use voice instructions in Freeform, Keynote, Pages and Numbers.
Accessibility: recorded instructions support learners that like listening to instructions. It allows all students to be able to replay instructions multiple times and for learners with an additional learning need it reduces the reliance on text, making tasks more inclusive.
All learners get the same instructions which reduces any misconceptions when delivering in a more conventional classroom setting.
Self Paced Learning: Learners can listen to the instructions at their own pace. This encourages independence and reduces the dependency on the teacher. Those learners that might me shy or anxious can revisit the instructions as many times as they want without feeling self-conscious.
Multimodal Learning: when you combine verbal instructions with text or visuals on the iPad it provides a richer, more engaging learning experience.
